Apart from this, before the module I was informed about supply chain logistics, which is the management of the production, transportation as well as distribution of goods and services across the supply chain.
In semester 1 while preparing the assignment, I was able to gain more in-depth knowledge in regards to business operation management. Before the module, I was only aware of the fact that HR strategies are only used for recruitment purposes. I was surprised when I learned that HR strategies are concerned with the overall development of the human resource in the organization. With the help of the module, I learnt that HR strategies are not only concerned with the recruitment of the appropriate employee but further associated with employee development. This development can be done by providing them with training, performance management, compensation, policy development and updates, maintaining employee records, processing payroll and so more (Tessema et al, 2022). The attainment of this knowledge makes me interested in developing my knowledge more concerning HR strategies as well as another knowledge areas such as supply chain logistics, quality control policies as well as operational efficiencies of the organization.

In addition, I acquire knowledge of using different kinds of technology to automate supply chain processes as well as integrated supply chain software for the proficient management of inventory levels. Learning about this kind of concept result in enhancing my overall understanding of the Business Operations Management.
During the learning in semester 1, I was able to enhance my area of knowledge in four areas including operational efficiency, quality control policies, supply chain logistics and HR strategies. Among the four areas, I enjoyed learning HR strategies the most. The concept of HR strategies is quite informative as well as knowledgeable for me. I enjoy studying HR strategies due to my interest in working as an HR manager in future. In addition, learning HR strategies enhance my knowledge, before the module my knowledge in this field is limited. Learning the topic boosts my knowledge as I become aware of the new fact that human resources also work to provide training (Burhan Ismael et al, 2021). Before the module, I was not familiar with the fact that training is also a part of HR strategy. Apart from this, I also enjoy learning the wide scope of HR strategies such as preparing policies, and updates, preparing payrolls, and deciding compensations as well as benefits for the employees.
Besides this, to continue developing my learning and understanding of the above four areas in Level 4, I opt for the courses in business operation management. This course helped me to gain wider as well as in-depth knowledge about the concepts related to operational efficiency, HR strategies, quality control policies as well as supply chain logistics. In addition, for better understanding I opt for the certification course, to get a speciality in the subject matter, as it leads to help me to increase my understanding in the best and most effective manner (Bartelson, 2022).
