According to the Constitution of the World Health Organization or WHO, health is defined as “ a state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity” (WHO, 2020). Non-achievement of any of these three aspects will lead to diseased conditions of people in the society. WHO also acknowledges that healthy development of every child is a basic component of society and thus, the people should have proper access to healthcare service needs. In contrast, Public Health England states that proper training to healthcare professionals can be the best aid to enhance healthcare conditions in the UK. Among different strategies, the authority has stated that knowledge gaining process through research methods, epidemiological and statistical models and proper health need assessment can help these professionals to ensure proper service delivery (FPH, 2020). Proper leadership, advocacy to people, and research and development can be some potential factors to achieve proper health status in society.

However, healthcare needs of every society are not similar. In that case, specific needs assessment for every society is necessary for making proper strategies for targeting the health and wellbeing of people. Community-oriented partnership working for improving health conditions of people is also an essential factor. Here, in the UK, the NHS invests billions of pounds for improving the quality of care for the UK people (Government of UK, 2020). Additionally, it also launched different schemes to prevent inappropriate healthcare delivery to people so that actual definition of health can be met for the people. Finally, the NHS collaborates with healthcare commissioners, local authorities and other care providers to manage the entire healthcare model in the UK.
