Role of a people profession

People professionals provision the vision & goals of the business by great people interferences. The role of the people is to authorize society's people to thrive individually and collectively (Durand et al, 2021). It has been identified that people professionals are more people-focused while achieving the targets in the organization. The people practice roles within the organization is to have the right candidate for the right positive at a specific period. These candidates enable the organization to improve its efficiency of an organization. This is why the people profession has been changing according to the skills of the people within the organization.

Impact of the people profession

Continued professional development helps the people to enhance or improve their skills while reducing any knowledge shortfalls and providing a competitive advantage to the organization. With the help of CPD, an individual improves skill sets to achieve the targets effectively and efficiently (Dean and Pollard, 2018). It has been identified that certain development activities are needed for improving CPD such as research, continuing education, receiving training and knowledge on particular aspects, skill-based training, job assignments, and so on. CPD designs to improve the skills sets of an individual. While CIPD profession map includes relevant areas that are related to the people professions. Both are linked with each other because CPD is developed to improve the people's professional behavior for an organization.

There are several characteristics of a good practice continuous professional development such as:

• Collaboration and communication is an important characteristic of good practice of CPD
• Building b relations with peers in an organization helps to achieve the targets quickly (Park, Hanchett and Ma, 2018).
• Focusing on improving the learning experience gives growth to an organization which is also considered a good practice of CPD.

Summary of self-assessment findings

With the help of self-assessment activity I have found out some strengths and weaknesses that I do not know before about it. I have analyzed that in the corporate world I always demonstrate consistency and professionalism to build trust. I have identified that when my friends and colleagues require my help I always helped them in their decision making process. I have found out one more strength that I deal with the situations very calmly & patiently. Also, I am always ready to help the people if they are facing troubles in the organization to complete the work. I have found some weaknesses also. I have analyzed that I need to improve my emotional ability and empathy so, it will help me to understand the perspective of others easily.
