Grounded Theory (GT) is the most popular methodology that is used in mainly contemporary research. The complexity associated with the methods results in confusion about what constitutes the grounded theory. This theory can examine several questions asked by researchers in case of collection and correcting the information to develop a methodology. It also should be maintained throughout the discussion procedure and the understanding of the essential GT methodology. The theory can be precise about its use and can support most of the inexperienced researchers through the process. When a researcher is deciding to use grounded theory to develop and implement the nursing practice in health care, the researchers can use different approaches of a grounded theory that match the research approach to reach the research aims.

Article 1

In this case, the grounded theory is mainly used in the development of the methodology. This study is mainly based on nursing care. The Grounded Theory helps the health care professional mainly the nurses to understand, utilize and develop the skill and gain knowledge about the concern of proper health care. In this case, compassion-fatigue and Compassion-satisfaction either can influence the performances of the critical care units to make decisions to continue or should leave the profession. It can also build an impact on the compassionate patient-centered of nursing care that the patients receive during their ICU admission. It also can help in reaching out to the researcher's intent and position, therefore it can be said that the resultant theory is potent and useful. In this case, the grounded theory helps in collecting and analyzing the data regarding the nursing practice and nursing care.

Article 2

This article mainly aims to explore the experiences of the patient with critical nursing care with the application of the Grounded Theory. Although in this case the integral compassion is considered to help in professional nursing, increasing the reports of care experiences illustrating a lack of different approaches and identifying the different types of challenges. Although having Political and professional guidance for reaffirming compassion as the philosophy of the contemporary practice of nursing care, this help by providing limited information into what compassion may involve. Therefore, this knowledge gap supported the study to explore the area of critical nursing care practice and compassion from the perspective of an individual point. In this case, therefore the research design of grounded theory is applied and is mainly defined by the perspective of theoretical review and the interaction and social construction. Therefore, in this case, 11 individuals were interviewed regarding their personal experiences of critical nursing care.

Article: 3

There are many critical care practice approaches to nursing care regarding burnout. In this case, the study mainly focuses on a better understanding of the nursing practice in case of burnout. The study also put effort into understanding the responsibility of understanding the adversity in the workplace in a critical care service. In this case, the investigation is based on the ground theory using the particular methodology. Therefore, interview is conducted in which some questions were developed regarding burnout and resilience.

Methodology

The first article of this study is about compassion in nursing care, which is very important because it helps patients by providing the emotional support, although the compassion of a nurse is individual care of nursing practice. In this process, the patient is helped by the reduction of the depression and lengthening and increasing the patient’s will of surviving (Jakimowicz et al. 2018). Therefore, it can be said that the compassion of nursing is only associated with the caring action of the patient. In this case, following the grounded theory of nursing care can helps in the development by the nurses for better results. The grounded theory mainly helps in the nurses to develop the practice goal according to their duty and care unit; it helps to understand the health concern of the patients and knowledge of performing or taking serious action in order to utilize the help from the k knowledge and the lesson (Jakimowicz et al. 2018). In the first, article the constructivist grounded theory. In this case, in order to understand the phenomenon and the outcome regarding the activity of the nurse in the patient's care, an interview was conducted. In this case, mainly 11 individuals are interviewed. In this interview the data collected are categorized as the attributes of compassion, socializing for compassion, the compassion of self-propensity of compassion, and most importantly the humanizing for compassion (Jakimowicz et al. 2018)..

The second article is based on a study about nursing care in the critical care unit. In this case, the founded theory mainly helps to understand d and determine the responsibility and the proper nursing care in the health care specialty in the critical care unit. Tin the critical care unit there are many technological methods to improvise and maintain the condition of the patient’s health condition (Straughair et al. 2019).In this study, the grounded theory helps to collect data from the intensive care units by conducting interviews with nurses. In this case, data were mainly collected focusing on the healthcare staff’s experiences relating to early mobilization in the case of managing mechanical ventilation. Data includes the activity of mobilization (Straughair et al. 2019).. In this case, individual staff was interviewed including the groups of multidisciplinary staff. In this case, an important phenomenon is Managing the Risks, which is the core category in the case of managing the risk in the intensive care unit. In this study, by the grounded theory, the process of early mobilization starts with staff who defines the status of the patient's condition and includes a process of ensuring the safety of the patient, which in turn enables the performance of the nursing care staffwithin the context of the setting of the intensive care unit (Straughair et al. 2019)..

In the third article, the study is based on a case of intense and long-standing treatment, care, and measure, which are needed in the burning cases. This phenomenon keeps a serious response that involves the nurses and the health care professionals, and the organization under pressure. In this case, through the help of grounded theory, it is possible to understand the factors that are mainly responsible for the challenge for managers and nurse executives(Jackson et al. 2019). Therefore, it can help in reducing and increasing the response and efficiency of nurses to develop and provide systems that help in promoting the positive-adaptation and the facilities that are required in quality care(Jackson et al. 2019). In this case, the Grounded theory was used as the method to conduct an interview of 11 female critical care nurses with experience, in this case. Data were generated from the interviewed answers and the experience of the participant in order to understand the overall situation regarding the nursing care in the burnout case in the critical care unit. Constant comparison was used for data analysis(Jackson et al. 2019).

Data collection

The data were collected by means of the qualitative data collection method. In this case, the information was mainly collected and was analysed by conducting the interview session. In the first article, the interview was conducted with 21 critical care unit nurses. In the second article, there were a large number of participants involved (Jakimowicz et al. 2018). there were 41 nurses from the critical care practice recruited to conduct the interview, in this case, some of the staff were from the multidisciplinary tweak also (Straughair et al. 2019). The information and the data that were collected from the interview were then finally analyzed by the grounded theory. In the case of the third article, there were 11 female critical care nurses who were experienced enough to work in the critical care unit of the burnout section (Jackson et al. 2019). The information was collected in the three cases by the method of the qualitative method and the data were analysed by the means of the grounded theory.

Discussion

According to the study of Jakimowicz et al (2018), it can be stated that compassion is an important and complex phenomenon, constructed by individuals such as nurses through their personal skills and personal experiences of nursing practice and nursing care. It is also constructed by the professional’s life experiences in the society or social world or in the workplace. In this study, while interviewing the participants, they expressed that compassion is fundamentally incorporated by the experiences of a kind and humoral approach to nursing care, which must be careful and sincere about the patient’s condition (Jakimowicz et al. 2018). According to the author, Jakimowicz et al (2018) it can be said that these act actually can be defined as the act of humanizing experiences. This humanizing experience of the nursing profession was thought to be influenced by several factors. These factors are such as psychological, biological, physiological, and socio-contextual factors (Jakimowicz et al. 2018). Through the interview, it can be understood that this study provides very useful insights into compassion that needs further investigation by the individuals in order to meet the other care contexts of nursing in the healthcare profession.

The result in case of the third article mainly shows both positive and negative impacts on the responsibility of critical care nurses in order to determine their ability to deal compassionately with the patients in the critical care unit (Straughair et al. 2019). According to the study of Straughair et al. (2019), it was revealed that there is a huge effect between patient-centered nursing and critical care nurses’ own well-being of the patient. This study explains the tension between critical care nurses’ biomedical skills, clinical skills, and knowledge and the compassionate, patient-centred care of nursing (Straughair et al. 2019). This tension has been defined by the terms of “Life in the Balance”, “Tenacity and Fragility”, “Passion and Pressure”, “Tenacity and Fragility” and “Understanding and Advocacy”.

According to the study Jackson et al. (2019), it can be stated that the personal characteristics of nurses and patients and social support from society and the workplace mainly influenced the response of nurses in the care of burnout. Personal characteristics especially when interacting with patients had a more powerful effect on the patient care practice of the nursing (Jackson et al. 2019. This effect can alter the emotional, behavioural, attitudinal, and organizational responses. Another important characteristic of the nurse in case of burnout care is determining the kind of caring behaviour. Social factors also have a palliative effect and emotional responses on the nurses. It also has some effect on the attitudinal responses of the nurses(Jackson et al. 2019).

In the all three cases, the grounded theory mainly helps in the identification of the important factors that influences the characters of the nursing care practice. The nursing care practice has an adverse effect on the public health and on the patient experiences (Rieger, 2019). The data that are collected by the secondary data collection method which are lately analysed by the grounded theory help us understanding the scenario about the compassionate nursing care process and the role of the nurse in a critical care unit. It also shows the impact of the characters of nursing care on the patient (Singh and Estefan, 2018).

Conclusion

Compassion is a complex situation but very important in the case the nursing care. This is mainly constructed by the individuals in nursing care staff through their personal experiences in the workplace. In this study, participants perceived that compassion is a very important part of developing skills and meeting the requirement of the patient through experiences of a humanizing approach to nursing care. These humanizing experiences are considered to be the influential factors that have a great impact on the biological, psychological, and socio-contextual factors of compassionate nursing care. In this study, the second article shows the strength is gathering rich data from different methods, providing deeper resources and ideas for understanding the complex process in the critical care unit. However, it is very important to understand there are many limitations in the cases of meeting g the proper quality by the nursing practice in the critical care unit or in general while providing the special care to the patient which depends on the condition of the patient and the situation of the workplace. This study explores mainly the experiences and activities or roles of the multidisciplinary staff being involved are determined by employing a constructivist grounded theory methodology. The outcome also shows that a complex intervention involves a diverse-patient population and multidisciplinary healthcare staff with varying acuity. This theory in case of the article 2 provides information to understand the social interactions between the involved individuals and it explains why many mechanically ventilated patients are sometimes mobilized and are sometimes not mobilized during their ICU care admission. In the case of the third article, it is regarding the case of critical nursing care, in “Resilience and burnout”. These two are related and interconnected. Leaders of the nurses can use this process for better treatment. Nurse or the senior nurse can interfere with this method to diminish workplace hardship and support strength among nurses. Analysis of the information of grounded theory helped to identify the importance and interconnection of these methods. Therefore it can be concluded that the result of the interview gives a clear idea about the importance of the role of nursing care and also the factors that can influences the characteristics of them which is understood by the help of grounded theory.
