1.1 Analysing performance review judgment

After analysing the performance of each department, it has been determined that logistics department is having large number of outstanding employees which indicate the high efficiency of organization in managing the employees’ satisfaction. For students seeking help writing assignments on performance analysis, this departmental review offers practical insights.  Further, R&D department needs to establish an adequate T&D session as it is having large number of underperforming employees. Further, Manager needs to identify employees’ needs based on which T&D session should be established for improving their performance within R&D department. In the second quarter, it has been identified that R&D department is having the highest number of productive employees which denotes efficiency of T&D session arranged in the first quarter. Moreover, it has been determined that there is a reduction in the number of outstanding employees in the administrative department which indicate decrease in the employees’ satisfaction. This also denotes that manger has not provided adequate recognition to the workers in first quarter which leads reduction in the employee’s productivity in the current quarter. The table also denotes that there is a reduction in the number of underperforming employees within logistic and R& D department which indicates effective HRM policies and strategies of the organization. It has also identified that adequate assistances have been provided to the employees which guide them in enhancing their performance and ultimately result into higher productivity. From the analysis of employees’ performance in both the quarters, it has been identified that firm is focusing on enhancing performance of R&D employees which will help in sustaining competitive edge and aids in providing adequate satisfaction to the employees.

1.2 Graphical representation

  1. Bonus payment:

The below graph denotes the amount of bonus which will be offered to employees of each department:

The above graph depicts that a sum of 20770 pound will be offered to employees belonging from the different departments. Further, it has been determined that 9800 pound will be paid to R&D employees which indicate the presence of highly efficient and productive workers. This will help organization in identifying the latest trends and patterns prevailing in the industry which contributes in gaining competitive edge. Adherence with the latest trend helps in attracting the large number of customers which ultimately leads high profitability and greater stakeholder’s satisfaction (Chi and Chen, 2021). On the other hand, providing high amount of bonus to employees leads reduction in the firm’s profits which result into decreasing shareholder’s and investor’s return.

  1. Number of underperforming employees

From the above graph, it has been determined that sales department is able to manage employee’s satisfaction as there is no underperforming employees. R&D department is having highest number of underperforming employees in quarter 1 which denotes high need to take adequate measures for their performance enhancement. However, in the second Quarter R&D department is able to cope up with the situation easily which indicates effective policies of the organization. Further, administrative department is having huge number underperforming employees which require manager to arrange an adequate T&D session. This is not a good indicator for stakeholder as ineffective administration will result into underutilization of the firm’s resources that ultimately leads reduction in the profitability (Macassa et al, 2021). For overcoming issue, manager should focus on enhancing the firm’s communication strategy and manage conflict which contributes in effective administration. 

  1. Number of outstanding employees

On the basis of above graph, it has been identified that R&D and logistics department have large number of efficient and productive employees. However, sales department lacks outstanding performer which negatively influences the overall profitability of the business entity. Inefficient sales department will not be able to attract the customer which reduces the profitability and ultimately result into decline in the stakeholder’s satisfaction. To overcome situation, adequate learning session should be arranged which aids in enhancing employees’ skills and competencies. 

Task 2: Review Survey Responses

On the basis of Survey conducted on 50 lines manager and 235 employees, it has been identified that there are various strategies and measures that should be adopted for enhancing overall satisfaction of employees and improving firm’s productivity which are as follows:

It has been recommended that along with adequate time, manager should involve in communicating with employees regarding their appraisal which contributes in effective decision making. This encourages employees to share their view point leading to higher satisfaction (Ghani et al, 2022). Manager should set up all the criteria on which employee’s performance will be evaluated that ultimately develops the confidence level. Manager should carefully evaluate all the aspect related to employee’s performance and consider their feedback while conducting appraisal.

Along with this, Manager should set benchmark for assessing the employee’s performance which will help in analysing overall productivity of the workers fairly. Line manager should consult with their superior and mentor regarding their appraisals rating which help in brining necessary changes. Manager should challenge underperforming employees as it defines firms confident towards them which eventually boost their motivation and overall productivity (Sepahvand and Bagherzadeh Khodashahri, 2021). It has identified that large number of manager are not effective in providing feedback which develop issue in managing motivation. To overcome issue, Manger should involved in T&D session and enhance communication skill which help in providing most accurate suggestion to workforce.

After conducting survey on 235 employees, there are various changes that need to be incorporated by manager which are as follows:

Manger needs to concentrate on enhancing interpersonal relation and involved in regularity communicating with employees which help in providing clear direction to employees. This relation helps in developing sense of belongingness within employees leading to higher retention rate (Amushila and Bussin, 2021). Further, manager should provide employees with autonomy to share their perception which enhance worker’s overall satisfaction. Beside this, manager should not only provide poetise feedback rather negative feedback should also be given which guide employees in taking necessary actions to overcome the same. They should also focuses on developing people management skills which help in managing overall retention rate within organization. Create, communicate, confront, comprehend and collaborate are five element which should be developed for effective managing human resource.

Along with this, line manager should conduct one to one meeting with employees which provide workers with freedom to share their issues and opinion. Moreover, the entire manager should provide balanced responses to employees which help in define their overall strengths and weakness. This will guide employees in taking accurate strategies for overcoming all the issues (Mahadi et al, 2020). Manager should emphasis on offering constructive feedback which helps in enhancing overall efficiency of employees. This includes highlighting strengths, growth opportunities and weakness of workers and providing actions to overcome the same. Further, manager should focuses on arranging necessary training and development session for employees that aids in developing required skills and competencies of employees. This will help in successfully attaining their self actualization need leading to higher satisfaction.
