Background of the study

In current era, vulnerable families enduring varied social and economic complexities that ultimately influencing their lives. They are experiencing wide range of circumstances that entailpoverty, unemployment, health issues and so on contextual components. Moreover, vulnerable families experiencing multiple challenges integrated with livelihood and accessing facilities (Choi et al, 2023). These families are at the forefront of household risk and faces obstacles that influence their well-being. Therefore, they need adequate support to comply with their basic needs, there are different charity organisations in UK who are assuring support to vulnerable individuals and families. Qoys Daryeel [QD] Family Care is a Women-led charity organisation registered in UK, the entity provides care services and support to individuals and families who are suffering from financial and societal challenges (Qoys Daryeel Family Care, 2023). QD family care’s primary goal is to help vulnerable individuals and families concerned with young kids. The motive of the organisation is to improve the living conditions of people who are dealing with socio-economic complexities.

QD family care aims to provide educational facilities, assist in relation to the provision of accessing facilities, promotes charitable purposes and provides community support to people. From the statistical estimation it has been identified that, in UK charitable organisations, practices rises from 168,850 to 170,383 which shows that there is rise in the demand for vulnerable families (Cotton et al, 2021). It is important to analyse the contribution ensured by charities for enhancing the lives of vulnerable people. The current research will be based on assessing and understanding the effectiveness of QD family care services in providing support to vulnerable families. In-depth evaluation will be undertaken and the effectiveness would be analysed. Furthermore, focus would be implied on identification of different types of vulnerable families, their requirements and impacts of QD family care services on the family’s well-being.

Problem statement

Studies have shown that children growth process, social and mental development is essential for creating their bright future. However, vulnerable sections ofsociety is unable to look upon these contextual elements which are required for enhancing their children growth. Here the major problem arises, this clearly signify about the gap existing in society, there are different sections in the society. Privileged sections in the community are able to access the basic and luxury services whereas, underprivileged groups are not even able to receive the basic necessities (Damant et al, 2020). Therefore, charity organisations in UK focusing on providing utmost support to vulnerable families so their livelihood can be improved and further their well-being can be enhanced. This situation is developing a perceptual loop comprised with financial hardship, well-being and general security. Organisations such as QD Family Care aims to reduce the complexities of vulnerable families by providing them holistic support (Forse et al, 2023). Vulnerable families are at higher risk due to lack of financial, social and moral support. QD family care focuses on reducing the burden on these families and therefore, research in this area requires to be undertaken. The contribution of QD Family care requires to be assessed so that it can be analysed up-to what extent QD Family care supporting vulnerable families.

Aim

The aim of the study is to understand the effectiveness of QD Family Care’s service in offering the best possible support to vulnerable families.

Objectives

  1. To identify the specific types of vulnerable families QD Family Care supports such as single mothers, families with disabled children and refugees.
  2. To analyse the beneficial and required services offered by QD Family Care like emergency food assistance, social welfare support and financial guidance
  3. To efficiently evaluate the impacts of QD Family Care’s services on the well-being of families.

  1. Which categories of at-risk families does QD Family Care focus on?
  2. In what ways does QD Family Care evaluate the requirements of families in need of assistance?
  3. What are the primary obstacles encountered by families utilising QD Family Care's programs?
  4. To what degree do QD Family Care's programs enhance the welfare of at-risk families?
  5. Do certain services provided by QD Family Care prove to be more successful than the rest?

Rationale

Vulnerable families facing different types of issues and still many charity organisations are unaware of the complexities and this is creating significant issues. Supportive programs are essential so that support can be ensured to these individuals and better societal outcomes could be gained (Hai and Ngoc, 2023). Research has shown that charity organisations need to understand the different types of challenges such as social, economic and physical that are endured by vulnerable families and accordingly, further actions are required to be taken (Gong et al, 2022). The current research project will focus on highlighting the importance of charity groups in tackling the issues of vulnerable families. The significant emphasis will be made on QD family care and the contribution of the organisation will be assessed while emphasising on different types of complexities, supports and its impact. The major rationale behind conducting current study entails with assessing the support required by vulnerable families and the ways in which QD family care is complying with the morals and values.

Significance

This study proves to be highly significant on ethical and moral terms, the research is focusing on vulnerable groups that are facing huge hurdles and still struggling to receive basic needs. It is important to assess the ways in which charity organisations are supporting these groups so it can be evaluated whether there is need to take improved actions or not. The research will be undertaken on QD Family care and subsequently the contribution of the organisation would be assessed (Gupta et al, 2023). However, outcomes of the research will be beneficial for charity organisations, and accordingly, they can enhance their practices with regards to supporting vulnerable families. Henceforth, there is no doubt in stating that the outcomes of the research will be useful for charity organisations, and further this will lead to develop significant support for vulnerable families.
