The technological advancements in electronic vehicles offers variety of benefits related to high convenience, quit operations, low maintenance cost and reduced reliance on fossil fuels (Aguilar and Grob, 2022). This helped me to gain diverse knowledge about the benefits. In addition, potential drawbacks of electric cars were identified in the current study related to limited infrastructure of charging stations, high prices, battery degradation, limited driving range and adverse impact on environment during the production of battery. To support the study, variety of examples along with the literature and academic sources were collected, leads to increase my practical learning and research skills.

During the initial stage of assignment, I felt a bit nervous related to the completion of study on time. The current study required a lot of research in limited time, due to which I feel worried and tensed. However, skills of time management help in effective management of time with strategic planning of tasks to be performed (Mandys, 2021). To manage my time effectively, I used a weekly planner to allocate specific hours for research, writing, and revisions. This approach ensured I met each milestone without last-minute rushing. For instance, I dedicated the first week to gathering and reading sources, the second week to writing the first draft, and the third week to revisions. In addition, I struggled to find credible academic sources on battery technology advancements. To overcome this, I expanded my search to include government reports and industry whitepapers, which provided the necessary data for my analysis ended up with feeling happy and satisfied as my soft skills assist me to accomplish the assignment on time.

As per the reference from Gibb’s reflective cycle, the strategic evaluation of the current study reflects the overall experience of learning (Tran et al., 2021). The present study helped me to improve the skills of time management, creative thinking and problem solving, leads to effective meeting of the study’s objective. For the completion of project by stating examples and data, secondary data collection method has been adopted to again information from multiple informational sources.

However, It was analysed that the data collection and research skills needs to be developed in better manner due to facing complexities in researching secondary information and data. Besides that, effective decision making skills lead to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the study as it helps to evaluate different scenarios and options and results in selecting best course of action (Martins et al., 2021). In addition to that, there was a lack of decision making skill due to which confusion arises in terms of selection of information and data sources. This leads to reflect limited choices for the research due to which effectiveness of the research is slightly reduced.

With reference to the Gibb’s reflective cycle, it was concluded that the current study helped me to gain information related to the positive and negative aspects of the electronic cars. In addition, the current study results in significant improvement in the skills of time management and organizing helped me to complete the assignment on time, emerges as strength. The organisation skills helped to discover the new patterns of work with proper planning and utilization of resources, leads to facilitate effective outcomes of research (Sanguesa et al., 2021). Additionally, it was concluded that strategic planning skills helped in providing strategic direction, leads to meet the research objectives in effective manner. in addition, skills of time management and effective planning will help me in future by allowing me to develop and setting long term plans and goals, leads to foster personal growth and professional development of career.

However, the listening skills could be improved as I found little difficult in gaining verbal information due to which I was unable to make notes related to the current topic of the study. Gibb’s reflective cycle assist me to overcome the potential weaknesses in the skills of research and active listening with the formulation of action plan. Apart from that, it was concluded that the research skills could be improved in order to gather diverse range of information to make the assignment more effective. Besides that, to manage my time effectively, I created a weekly schedule, allocating specific hours for research, writing, and revisions. The listening skills could be improved by implementation of steps related to increased focus and through clarification for the doubts and queries, helped to effective remember the concepts to enhance knowledge and learning (Kapustin and Grushevenko, 2020). On the other hand, research skills can be improved by understanding the process of research with the help of using library resources and other authentic literature resources to enhance the effectiveness of research. Besides that, I will use more specialised databases and academic journals to improve the quality of my research for future assignments.
