Reflective summary
Reflection defines as reflecting on past experience and learning from past mistakes to avoid it in future. As for me I am looking for better employability opportunity in health and social care worker field. This particular field is all about helping individuals with proper plan aligning with their specific health needs. For structuring reflection I would have taken use of Gibbs reflective model elaborated below.
Gibbs reflective cycle: A structured framework that helps in analysing the past events to understand what has happened so that future actions can be improvised (Heyes et al, 2025). It comprise of mainly 6 stages enlisted below-
Description: This stage allows me to discuss what has happened and when it happened. During module learning on employability, I was assigned with the group project to write about healthcare employability. For this task I have suggested other members to divide work based on knowledge in order to complete this in timely manner. However, due to some misunderstanding two of the member have done same work which lead us to rewrite leftover part, still we have managed that situation.
Feelings: During module learning I was very excited because employability in healthcare sector is my ultimate goal. Therefore, I have dedicated my whole time in writing my part over employability, through this I have also found some good topics that have critical role in healthcare that are diversity, inclusivity and equality.
Evaluation: The thing which went well was the fact that I have gained some key knowledge about employability in healthcare as how staff requires to act on agreed ways of manner. Further, me and my group members have completed our part of work in timely manner that has given us satisfaction. However, I have found that due to my poor communication skill I was struggling in briefing project task to other members.

Analysis: The thing which went well for my task was proper division of work aligning with individual skill and knowledge. It has helped us in completing our part of work in timely manner. Also learning about inclusivity, equality and diversity in healthcare went well as I have found that for a professional career in healthcare it is important for one to remain unbiased in every situation while carrying out duties or to treat patient.
Conclusion: Overall, I have learned about different concept related to employability, as to work in healthcare sector it is important for individual to must have qualification, skill set, and positive behaviour in order to work efficiently. I have come across to the fact that in health and social care perceiving positive behaviour is vital in order to promote healthy and respectful environment for both workers and patient. While group project has supported me to identify my strength which are strong team work, organising skill, while it also helped me in finding my weakness in terms of poor communication skill, time management.
Action plan: My action plan entails key skills which I need to develop. I will focus on engaging in group activities to develop my communication skill. Further I will focus on arranging task in different modules to complete it by time.
CONCLUSION
It has been summarised from the above report that effectiveness in career planning helps in accomplishing career goal in timely manner. The above report have discussed about the 5 year career plan for dedicated employability in carer and support worker field. Lastly emphasis has been made over the short term learning goals and reflective summary.
