Proposed Aim and Objectives
Technology in healthcare setups can provide advanced tools and technological benefits to the healthcare community for improving patient care. For example, nowadays, by using EHRs or Electronic Health Records systems, healthcare providers can easily access the complete medical histories, information, and other necessary credentials of a patient, which can aid in making informed decisions (Cresswell et al., 2021). With the emergence of technology, online healthcare systems, and app-based medical treatment are helping care providers to identify the best-fit treatment approaches and medication needs of the patients, and on the other hand, patients can now access on-time treatment and medical support at home based on their health condition. VR or virtual Reality devices are now helping patients ease the symptoms of depression and anxiety among the older population and those who are suffering from mental illness. AR or augmented Reality also helps the surgeon to perform complex operational activities or surgeries without any error, and as a whole, technologies are now impacting healthcare setup by improving health, wellness, and quality of the services within the chosen setup (Sheikh et al., 2021).
This research proposal aims to critically analyse the impact of IT or Information Technologies on the healthcare system and service delivery process. To meet this aim, the case scenario of healthcare setup in the United Kingdom has to be taken into consideration
Considering the aim of this proposal, the objectives of the research will be:

The problem lies in assessing the comprehensive impact of Information Technologies on the healthcare system including its impact on the overall care and support of the patient, administrative procedures, data management system, and resource allocation process (Betton, 2022). Additionally, understanding the disparities in the adaptation of Information Technologies in different healthcare system and facilities are also important to comprehend for understanding the impact of IT on patient outcome and service delivery process. There are several researchers which are lacking information regarding the analysis of multifaceted influences and the negative impact of Information Technologies on the healthcare system.

To increase the reliability of the sources, inclusion and exclusion criteria have been carried out. By using secondary qualitative research, it will be easy to collect qualitative information about the implementation of technologies or IT (Information Technology) in healthcare setup in reference to the United Kingdom.
