In health and social care context confidentiality is explicated as the procedure under which health care practitioners must keep the information of patients confidential. It means that the service provider should not tell anyone about the details of the patient (Kaini, 2016). The Data Protection Act 2018 governs confidentiality; it guides about how personal information needs to be used by organizations or businesses (Erdos, 2021). Confidentiality is essential because; it protects service user interest, supports in building trust and assures higher security to service user (Safford et al, 2007). As per NHS the procedure of confidentiality aligned with the following Data Protection Act and NHS Act 2006 section 251 also serves as a basis of confidentiality (NHS, 2022). The Caldicott principle 2 states that, the personal information of a patient needs to be used only when it is necessary. For example- when there is a threat to a patient's life in such a situation disclosure of information proves to be justified as per NHS Act 2006 (NHS, 2022).

The intervention is concerned with reducing blood glucose levels and implementing nurse-patient communication to deal with the mental exhaustion of patients. The patient might face vulnerable conditions such as being socially excluded and service users often self-isolated, in such situations, behavioural therapies such as CBT can be used. The Mental capacity Act 2005 is specifically designed to empower people who are lacking in mental capacity and cannot decide on their own. Personalised care plans need to be made for the patient so that their needs can be considered and effectual support can be given to them (NHS, 2022). All the team members must receive training so they can perform safe and secure practices. Implementation of safety protocols such as infection control and hygiene maintenance need to be followed. This led to creating of a safe environment for service user and further enhanced their well-being.
